Pocket Door Compartments or Shoe Holders – a neat way to store kids little toys

My little guy has so many little super heroes and random small figurines, I thought I’d share how we keep them organised. I got this pocket hanger at Howards Storage and it’s managed to keep all of our little heroes in the one spot. There are a few different sizes and colours, and they also have the larger shoe compartment type.

 

It hangs on the door and when friends come over, or we are playing, I pull it down so the kids can go crazy. At the end of the day we pack it back up, it’s been a good learning lesson about putting things back so you know where they are. And we can see them easier than being put away in a box.

 

Here are a few ways I’ve found on Pinterest to use these hangers.

Store shoes, (of course) hair clips, drink bottles, make a herb garden, store rolls of ribbons, use one to store snacks in a pantry kitchen, store all those really small toy collectables, jewellery, scarves and mittens and … using them on the back of your car seat to stash away sunscreens, wipes etc for the car, you can check out my pinterest board here.
