DIY Easter Bunny Hat Printable + Mini Pom Pom Tutorial

I’m sooo excited to say that my DIY Easter Bunny Hat printable + mini pom pom tutorial is being featured over at U Create today.

The fabulous Kari has an awesome blog that showcases FREE Printables, kids crafts, recipes, party inspiration and more. I’m a massive fan and I’m pretty much jumping for joy at being featured over on her blog.

BTW, I’m just a bit in love with my little man modelling the finished hat, he’s gorgeous, but then I’m biased.

Make these easy bunny hats for your easter gathering or hat parade. Download the FREE Printable then cut and stick together, add a mini pom pom, (easy to do with a fork and some bakers twine) and your done!

YOU WILL NEED:

Download the FREE Easter Bunny Hat Printable here

(Print onto 200gsm white card)

Bakers twine

Elastic string (mine was from the 2 dollar shop)

Scissors

A Fork

Sticky tape

Stapler

Download and cut out the FREE Printable

Fold the sides around to form a cone shape and secure with tape.

Meanwhile, make mini pom poms, using the instructions below. I used bakers twine for this pom pom and used a fork to wrap my string around, then cut through the loops, fluff, give your mini pom pom a trim and voila! All done, to make larger ones, wrap string or wool around a larger object and use the same method.

Using the string you tied through the middle, insert the ends in the top of the hat and fasten with tape, I used the end of the scissors to get the tape right into the top of the hat, then trimed off the excess string.

Lastly… use some elastic string and measure the length needed to make a perfect fit on your party goer, trim as required and secure with tape. To make it extra secure, once taped, use a stapler for extra strength.

Print out as many as you need and you are ready for an Easter party or even a bunny party. Life’s all abut parties we think… Enjoy!
