I’m back….
That was a long break!
Fabulously long.
I’ve missed you all.
I’m sharing a FREE Valentine’s day printable today.
It’s super easy…
Download the template to make a seed envelope and add some chilli seeds for a bit of fun this Valentine’s day.
Or any day really.
DIY VALENTINE “I LOVE YOU” SEED ENVELOPE PRINTABLE
How to make:
Download the Free “I Love You” Seed Envelope Printable
Then print out and cut out with scissors.
Fold the edges over to make an envelope.
Glue the side and bottom flaps.
Add your seeds, (you could even add hot lollies as another option).
Then glue the top flap to finish.
A neat valentines day gift for someone you love.
While you’re at it, why not try growing chillies from seeds.
We did, last year.
How to grow chillies using dried up fresh chillies
Let your chillies dry out.
(That’s not hard to do at our house.)
Then we scraped the seeds into pots and covered with soil, and watered gently.
Place the pot in full sun.
Chillies love heat.
{Funny that.}
We put 2 seeds in each hole, so 6 seeds altogether and we got 3 plants.
It’s been about 6 months and we have our first chillies ready to try.
It’s pretty darn cool, when you grow something from seed.
I’ll keep you posted on the taste.
If you don’t fancy chillies, why not fill the envelope with some Kool mints?
I’m a fan of the chillies, though.
I like the line on the back
Let’s grow… smokin’ hot together!
(I stole that one from my cousin Tom)

Have a great weekend guys,
Live with Love,
PS: Now for the REALLY HOT news…
We sold our house during the Christmas break and we’re making a new sea change.
That’s why I’ve had a huge break, it’s been crazy here!
We’ve bought a block of land in a small town on the coast and I’m sure we’ll be finding the time to grow some more of these chillies.
You might see my Pinterest feed go crazy with dream house ideas from now on.
Probably no secret what colour scheme, I’m heading for.
I can’t wait to get building a whole new adventure for my little family.
Any tips on moving, or building?
I’d love to hear.

I’m glad you like the valentines day idea, I think I’m giving it to my husband, because it’s a way to hint we need more chilli’s and herbs in the garden in our new house. Always an ulterior motif.
Super cute! Good luck with your sea change! A new chapter is always exciting x

Vice versa Bele. I had to google habenero, found it it was a type of chilli, you learn something everyday!
This is so cute Sarah.
I grew one chilli bush last year and am still using the chillies I got off it. I roasted them and put them in oil. the oil is great for winter soups. the bush I put in this year hasn’t grown as well as last years.
