Hello guys.
We are in,
not totally unpacked…
but in our new house. Yay!
I thought I’d give you a glimpse of my new office desk.
Made without any screws, using two drawers and a piece of wood.
You can make it too.
It’s super easy.
DIY Office desk
2 x Malm drawers from Ikea
1 x 2200 x 60 birch panel from Bunnings
Beeswax Polish
Clean cloth
Position the drawers so the panel fits on top against a wall.
Polish the top with some beeswax polish to give it some protection.
And your done.
The top can be removed if you need to get to the cords or change positions, it’s 26mm thick so it stays in position without any screws against a wall.
I’m quietly in love with that new rug too.
The best bit is…
On the other wall,
There’s a cupboard
That’s a wall bed.
So it’s perfect for visitors.
I’ll update you next week with a few more pics.
You might notice a few pieces from my Yamba Scandi Collection in the room too.
{BTW there is 10% off and free worldwide shipping till midnight tonight 13/11/15, click here to shop}
Here’s a few links to some of the pieces around my new desk incase you love them.

How fabulous is that rug, its the first thing that caught my eye!!! I too have a similar desk, I went to a kitchen joinery and bought a super large 3m offcut of laminex (look a like marble kind!) Its so big and sits perfectly across two drawers. Big enough for a double workstation, I love it. I LOVE the idea od a fold ot wall bed, super snazzy and space saving! Cant wait to see more! x

Brilliant idea! I’m about to claim a space in our bedroom as a sewing area and something this simple would be perfect.

Oh wow, it’s gorgeous! Great job. I’ve been making do with a teeny tiny desk for ages now, I’m thinking this may be the perfect way to do an upgrade. I’ll let you know how I go.
