Need a quick way to wrap up a present? Try this easy idea with your child’s art and a stapler! No sticky tape necessary!
I had some artwork scanned in from the Repurpose Art Challenge #3 so I printed out a couple of pages and made this quick wrap idea.
You will need:
Paper
Stapler
Hole punch
Tags (I used buff size 4 tags from Officeworks)
String
Stamp set (optional)
Simply cut the paper to a rectangular shape and staple around all the sides to make a pocket.
Staple close together so the things you want to place inside don’t fall out.
Then fill with your gift, or in this case Ruby and Jess’s Repurpose Art Challenge.
Then once filled, staple the other side, however, this time, staple the opposite way.
A neat triangle shaped wrap idea!
I then hole punched the top corner, and did a bit of stamping on the card, added some string and secured through the hole. I got my stamps and string from Little Paper Lane. Love that shop!
You could also just write directly onto the triangle shape, or the tag to make this even quicker. Great for when you have to go to a party and you forgot to get wrapping paper, or you want to save a few dollars.
It’s so easy, you could also use brown paper…
Or a couple of sheets of newspaper. Or better still keep any wrapping paper you receive and re-use it like this.
Neat!!! a quick and cheap way to wrap up a present!
