Right about now…
we have visitors on the way to Yamba.
They’re about an hour away.
I’m so excited.
{So is everyone.}
Just like I was with all the ones before them.
And,
The one’s still to come.
And the ones to come again.
Where will we take them when they get here?
There’s a 100% chance we’ll walk along the Breakwall.
Where we trod with mum and dad.
Take a trip to Pippies.
And go fishing at our secret spot
to find Where the crabs live.
And we’ll…
Take them to Turners!
That’s Turners Beach Yamba.
Introducing a new piece in my Yamba Scandi Collection.
Called TURNERS
Right now we have turf that’s just arrived.
For this patch.
Justt near the bar.
Where we’ll probably have a drink and talk for hours.
{and forget the fence isn’t painted yet
and the garden isn’t planted}
and eat at the table.
While the kids swim.
{and forget that the pool box isn’t finished and the car still can’t get in the garage}
I wonder what they think when they drive those sugarcane lined roads?
I get teary thinking about it.
I’m thinking we will take a trip to Turners tomorrow
to see it for real.
You can check out my new print called Turners here.
It’s a reminder of when my sister and BIL came to town with the kids.
And we took a trip to Turners.
About…
turning corners
and realising,
everything you have achieved,
{even if it’s not finished yet.}
And that beautiful things,
like the beach at Turners,
lie in the people you share it with.
{new and old}.
I’m off to put the champagne on ice.

How exciting, you will just love it.
I remember as a kid, hanging over the back fence of our neighbours with my cossies already on,
and when asked if I wanted to come for a swim…
I was over in a flash.
I think I secretly love it the most. x
We have family coming up for Christmas too but I’m not as enthusiastic as you! Lol. Thank you for linking up with HIT. X
My pleasure.
I might not be so at the end of the holidays, lol!
